Cooperative grocery – Local & organic products in Beauraing
Located in the heart of Beauraing, Le Comptoir Paysan is a citizen-run cooperative shop promoting organic and local food. It features a curated selection of around 50 local producers from within 4 to 80 km of Beauraing (ideally less than 50 km).
The 350 m² space offers seasonal fruits and vegetables, meats, cheeses, fresh bread, bulk products, ready-made meals, magazines, and workshops on sustainable food practices.
The Bakery
The in-house bakery uses ancient, organic grains and handles everything from harvest to baking. The yeast or sourdough breads are available during shop opening days (Wednesday to Saturday) and at select local sales points.
Delicious Homemade Meals
Le Comptoir Paysan is also a foodie’s dream! A talented chef prepares ready-made dishes like cheese croquettes, pizzas, lasagnas, meatballs and more – all made with ingredients from local producers. These dishes are sold exclusively in-store.
